There are many tutors out there offering KS2, KS3 and GCSE Maths support, but not all of them are able to offer a personalised approach, based on years of experience and passion as a professional classroom teacher.
I know the importance of tailored education and believe that I can help every child reach their full potential.
I am based in Avening, equally located between Stroud, Tetbury and Cirencester and hold a full Enhanced DBS certificate, available on request. I am also a member of The Tutors Association.
KS2 Maths Tutoring
If your child is in Year 5 or Year 6 at primary school, then I can help build their knowledge and confidence in maths, which is important for their SATs and for their journey into secondary school.
KS3 Maths Tutoring
KS3 Maths tutoring (for Years 7 to 9) builds upon the foundations laid in primary education. I focus on further consolidating and developing your child's understanding and knowledge, and begin to delve into more advanced mathematical topics, helping your child to gain the confidence they need to extend their maths skills ready for the demands of GCSE.
GCSE Maths Tutoring
GCSE Maths tutoring is for those who are wanting to spend some extra time getting to grips with their GCSE Foundation work or solidify the necessary maths skills required to take on the challenge of a GCSE Higher paper. I provide specialised guidance, support and confidence building to help your child tackle complex subjects and concepts.
